Kirkwood Classic

This Kirkwood, Missouri, backyard was designed to feel like a natural extension of the home and its existing outdoor spaces. The property already featured a reddish brick patio, so we carried that material throughout the new design, using brick for the pool decking and incorporating it into the fencing details to create a cohesive, timeless look.

The pool itself features a classic rectangular design with a fully tiled, raised zero-edge spa positioned in one corner. On the opposite side, a spacious Baja/sun shelf provides the perfect spot for lounging in the water, with wide entry steps seamlessly connecting the shelf to the main pool. The open stretch of water along the opposite side provides plenty of uninterrupted space for swimming laps, playing, or simply cooling off. Deck jets add movement, sound, and ambiance, while the generous brick patio provides ample room for shaded lounge chairs, outdoor dining, and additional seating. Surrounded by mature trees and lush landscaping, the finished space feels established and inviting—a classic backyard retreat designed for both relaxation and entertaining.
