Located in Edwardsville, Illinois, this custom outdoor living project transformed a steeply sloping backyard into a sophisticated, multi-level outdoor retreat. Rather than fighting the elevation change, Oasis embraced it—using the grade to create a series of distinct outdoor living spaces connected by sweeping curved staircases and elegant natural stone retaining walls.

The centerpiece is a clean-lined rectangular swimming pool featuring an oversized curved Baja/sun shelf with integrated entry steps that softens the pool’s geometric design. A raised swim-up bar with submerged seating creates the perfect gathering spot, while deck jets and dramatic fire bowls with cascading waterfalls add movement, ambiance, and a striking combination of fire and water.

Just below the pool, a circular fire pit patio offers another inviting destination for entertaining, while the covered patio features a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, expansive island with bar seating, and comfortable outdoor living space. Finished with contemporary large-format stone decking and carefully integrated landscaping, every level of the backyard flows seamlessly into the next, creating a resort-inspired outdoor environment that is as functional as it is beautiful.

Oasis pools did an amazing job installing our pool a few years ago. We have been enjoying it the last 3 years. Recently we had a liner problem and Brian, service manager, was very quick to fix the problem and keep me updated even though we were out of town. I would highly recommend their services.
