The Forest Line
This resort-like swimming pool project was completed in O’Fallon, Illinois, and was designed to complement both the home’s unique architecture and its beautiful wooded surroundings. The one-of-a-kind pool shape was inspired by the roofline of the home, creating a custom design that feels like a natural extension of the property.
A beach-inspired zero-entry sun shelf provides a gradual transition into the water and features bubblers that add movement and ambiance. At the opposite end, a dramatic infinity-edge waterfall overlooks the surrounding woods, with two large water bowls positioned on either side, spilling into the deep end below. Beneath the infinity edge, a spacious fire pit and seating area creates another destination for relaxing and entertaining while taking in the wooded views.
Natural stone is incorporated throughout the project, helping connect the pool and hardscape with the mature landscaping. The combination of contemporary lines, organic materials, water features, and established greenery creates a backyard retreat that feels both modern and completely at home in nature.
